I usually keep the heat in my room, spider 78 to 84 degrees Fahrenheit. To see tarantulas around my house and check my desk at work, with a ZooMed Repti Temp 500R Thermostat on heating mats. If you have a heat mat, always apply the mat outside the aquarium. Never place indoors. Use of coconut, I'm going assume that you are using eco-earth substrate. This is a good material.
